dry needling on the face and head

Dry Needling Physical Therapy

Dry Needling is a common treatment approach at Rehab Guru. Dry needling is used to treat many different type of muscle and nerve related injuries. Dry needling involves the insertion of a fine filament into a muscle. This technique helps bring amazing pain relief for common musculoskeletal injuries. The needle that is used is very thin and rarely causes any pain when it is inserted. The needle is inserted into the  “trigger points" facilitating a relaxation response to the muscle. The approach has very little pain with great results. Dry Needling provides pain relief without the use of medication. Schwahn is certified in dry needling through the Spinal Manipulation Institute and through Dr. Ma's Integrative Dry Needling.
